The real steel version of this ICS PCR97 C-15 M4 AEG Carbine was developed by the US Naval Surface Warfare Center. It is the SOPMOD M4A1, based off of the standard M4A1 RIS platform; this weapon was designed to be an adaptation of basic issue weapons. This M4 A1 Carbine has the flexibility and versatility to meet mission-specific requirements. The airsoft AEG equivalent by ICS is full metal so it is heavy and rigid.

Offering a high rate of fire with pin-point accuracy the M4 R.I.S. provides an excellent weapons platform for shooting in both close quarters and open-field scenarios. The R.I.S. system is designed to mount all kinds of equipment (e.g. lasers, bipods, M203 grenade launcher, PEQ laser sight) for different operational needs. The R.I.S. system contains two hand-guard panels, the R.I.S. mount rails, and the tactical foregrip. ICS C-15 M4 R.I.S. is full made from high quality aluminum and metal alloy for maximum rigidity. R.I.S. Panels: High quality nylon made, pattern process surface technology. Sports innovative gearbox design that makes gear access possible in seconds to clear jams. Innovative forward assist button can also clear gear jams instantaneously. Excellent performance and upgrade potential makes this an excellent investment for serious skirmishers or collectors alike.
